First and foremost, we would like to say Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to our dearest families, friends and readers either in New Zealand, Brunei or elsewhere. Mohon Maaf Zahir & Batin.

Even though we are far from home, this does not mean we’re forgetting about Hari Raya.

This year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Wednesday, 6/7/16. The celebration started with Takbir Raya led by BSA religious officer, Adi Waie. A few tears here and there cause we’re all missing home. T.T awww.

Then we had a fun interview through Skype with Pilihan FM and National FM, Brunei’s radio stations.

Some went to the masjid to start their morning raya with sembahyang hajat and takbir.

In the afternoon, anzac was busy with food preparation for BSA first day Raya open house.

Open House. Sad that we had to missed raya in Brunei this year, but spending raya in NZ with all these crazy bunch is more than enough.
