National Day 2017

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone. 

Saturday, 4th March 2017. Unlike the previous years, instead of OUSA, we decided to celebrate National Day in Anzac Ave more widely known as Kampung Brunei.

Our menu for the day? BBQ chickens lambs & sausages!! WOOWWW, sia sia pun. Not just that, (au ada lagi) we also have varieties of food and drinks and desserts. Thanks to everyone who have contributed to this potluck, you guys are awesome!!

 We started out with Doa, followed by the group photo session, then jeng jeng jeng apa lagi....Makanlah.  Its a happy occasion so there were happy faces everywhere

Wait...did I say everyone is happy. Apparently one person is not.

Royston. 

Because...

Yup, its just not quite right. 

The culprit? the person who smiled secretly despite of Royston's dismay. 

Yup, thats him.

Hahahahahahaha, Just Kidding guys... ... apakan??hahaha, inda jua cali ah, hahaha and here I am literally laughing out loud while writing this cause its just so funny.  Ok, sorry, haha, out of topic. 

So where was I? Oh right! This event is not just for celebrating National Day but also some sort of a welcoming event for our new adorable junnies.

Hence, our first ice-breaking activity is the family feud game. A very fun, relaxing and enjoyable game though some of the answers are quite questionable.

If X factor and America's got Talent have Simon Cowell. We have Chris, our very own judge for the games.

Coming up is the picture charades game. One person draws and the others guess, you know how it goes. Some of the things we need to draw are Tarap, Yayasan, Nazmi, Sapit, Tongking, Kuih Seri Muka, RBA airlines and the list goes on.

Divided into 3 groups for the games. PS: Royston is happy now.

We are so happy to be joined by non Bruneians. Its heartwarming to see them participate in our games and to even try to draw some of the things that they are not quite familiar with. Moving on, we have our last activity, the Mafia game. Mafias try to kill a citizen while the doctor try to save them, sometimes successful and sometimes not. Police try their best to investigate and convince the citizens who the mafias are while Romeo and Juliet are in their own bubble of love not knowing the danger out there especially at night. It was tense especially the third round (you know what I'm saying) but nevertheless it was so fun. And then finally... we wrapped up the event and say goodnight to each other. 

Fuhh, overall the event was fun fun fun and full of love love love.
